One of the suitable islands for IOTA expeditions is Grimsey - off the north coast of Iceland. The ferry goes on Mon/Weds/Fri from Dalvik and takes 3 hours. The ferry has limited space for about 4 cars. Best operating location for antenna space is Guesthouse Basar near the airport. Guesthouse Gullsol has limited antenna space and is by the harbour. Both guesthouses offer cheap sleeping bag accommodation.
